Who says you can’t chase a killer while wearing flannel pyjamas and a feather boa?

When queer novelist and amateur sleuth Emerson Chopra gets a distress call from her activist sister, she trades city bustle for a village so peaceful, its biggest concern is withering dahlias. Thrust into a case that’s part murder mystery, part existential farce, Emerson finds herself battling with eccentric locals nursing simmering grudges and questionable taste in footwear.

“A page-turning, anarchically funny mystery that blends the classic charm of the cozy genre with a modern, queer sensibility, a sharp topical bite and a crime-solving pet duo. Perfect for fans of Knives Out and Julian Clary.”
