When David McAlmont burst into the top 10 in 1995 with Yes – his soaring collaboration with ex-Suede guitarist Bernard Butler – everyone was taken by surprise.
For many queer music fans, David's arrival – all blue lipstick, Judy Garland vocal stylings and lyrical depictions of gay love and heartache  – came not a moment too soon.
Join us as we welcome the man behind that voice to celebrate the 30th anniversary remastered reissue of The Sound of McAlmont & Butler.
In this special playback session and Q&A with David, we'll revisit some of the key songs from the album, take a deep dive into the stories behind them, and discuss the record's unique place in pop history.
Very limited capacity - just 30 tickets available.
