Singer, activist and BBC Young Folk Award-winner Maddie Morris invites us on a journey through stories of their life, while opening space for us to explore our own.

Blending folk traditions and protest song with their perspective as a queer autistic person, this show examines identity, gender, disability, survival, and joy in community with warmth, humour and honesty.

Maddie will be performing at Dream Street Records on Wednesday 14 October as part of their Songs and Stories Tour.

Maddie’s shows are more than a gig – they’re a welcoming, inclusive space for connection, creativity and community – especially for those who don’t feel at home in traditional live music settings.

Maddie will also be running Political Song Writing Workshop earlier in the day - offered free for trans, non-binary and intersex people in partnership with The Clare Project.
